Fancy getting creative on your DS handheld if you're not in the mood to play a game? Then you might want to try this new homebrew application being developed by BassAceGold, dubbed UAPaint.

As the author explains, this DS homebrew is basically an art program that allows you to draw, color, and save your very own pieces of pixelated doodles. Here's a rundown of the UAPaint's features(Quoting BassAceGold's post) :

• Saving and Loading 256X192 24 bit bitmap images
• zooming & grid when fully zoomed

BassAceGold notes that future changes may include options for canvas size, color opacity, and a bigger options menu.
