Having some trouble sleeping? Hold off that glass of warm milk, since there are better ways of making yourself fall into Dreamland. This short list of DS games will be guaranteed to make your eyelids heavier, as long as you're playing them while in a comfortable position. Why the DS, you ask? It's because there is an abundance of casual games on the DS, most of them just serving to while the time away without having to pump your adrenaline.

Do take note that the games listed below are by no means boring - some of them are incredibly addictive, like QuickSpot and Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 2, but playing these games under low light while relaxing in bed will greatly help in lulling people to sleep.

Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes A Day - Image 1First off, there's the Virus Buster mini-game found in Nintendo's Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day. Virus Buster, which is almost the same game as Dr. Mario, is meant to be played before going to bed. A few minutes of blasting viruses Dr. Mario-style mindlessly before going to bed will not only make you sleepy, but will make Dr. Kawashima happy, too.

QuickSpot DS - Image 1Next up is Namco Bandai's QuickSpot. This game is basically just a Spot the Difference game for the DS, with a hint of Namco Bandai fanservice included. While most people find Spot the Difference games in newspapers too frustrating for them to be relaxing, the lullaby tunes serving as background music is guaranteed to induce yawns from gamers.

Paint by DS - Image 1Here's another game that's guaranteed to make you relax: Paint by DS by Mercury Games. This title isn't released yet, but the idea of recreating paintings with soft music playing in the background is one of the best ways to calm your mind into sleep.

Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 2 - Image 1If you prefer cutesy stuff, then you may want to take a shot as Namco Bandai's Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 2. Think grinding is only limited to hack-and-slash RPGs? Think again. In this game where incredibly repetitive mini-games is the norm, you'll find yourself drifting into sleep after preparing your gazillionth plate of sushi, or baking your umpteenth cake.

Final Fantasy 3 - Image 1Finally, here's a surefire way to lull yourself into sleep: grinding. Yes, take any RPG game which requires grinding, run around the map in circles to randomly encounter monsters, kill monsters, wash, rinse and repeat. Even if the game is good - say, Square Enix's Final Fantasy III - mindless levelling and grinding will never fail to make people doze off especially if they do it while lying in bed.
