Yes. Finally more info. Have been waiting for this for a while. Game looks *****ing great. I just hope that it will see the simultaneous release treatment that Square has been talking about lately.

I didn't even know there was another SO in the making until this article. That's great, Star Ocean 2 was a great game, really long and complicated.

But I'm going to be; that headline is totally misleading.

Per Merriam-Webster:
" — in lieu : instead
— in lieu of : in the place of : instead of"

Perhaps "in honor of" or "in observance of" would be more, you know, correct :)

I think he was thinking of "in light of". I read the headline and got the impression that they canceled or delayed the release for some reason.

So, the new Valkyrie Profile is only for the DS. That is very disappointing then.

Hopefully Star Ocean 4 is confirmed to be PS3 exclusive.

I love the Star Ocean series, and I'm pretty stoked for the 1st and 2nd remakes, and SO4 looks like it will be great. The only thing I hope they improve on is the voice acting (it wasn't bad in SO3 IMO, but wasn't good in some ways neither)
