Shigeru Miyamoto nominated again for Time's 100 Most Influential Person - Image 1We just got word that Nintendo Senior Managing Director Shigeru Miyamoto has been nominated once again for Time's 100 Most Influential Person award. The guy was also nominated last year.

Anyway, we need not reiterate the value of Miyamoto in the video game industry as he credited for several franchises such as Mario, Donkey Kong, and The Legend of Zelda.

Aside from those, he is also responsible in his own way for revolutionizing the industry. Last we looked, Shigeru Miyamoto is currently on position 9 with an average rating of 65.

According to Time, one of his disadvantages is the health issues often connected with games. Time wrote:

Can he reverse gravity for all the obese, video game-playing kids out there? Miyamoto himself has said that the purpose of his Wii Fit game, with its balance board and full-body focus, isn't to make you fit, but "aware of your body."

Aware enough to go outside before atherosclerosis sets in?

If you want to see the list or know how can you make Shigeru Miyamoto win, just refer to our source link below. It should lead you to Time's current list of candidates for the award this 2008.
