We've picked up on a couple of new scans for Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. The scans are from a Japanese magazine, though not necessarily Famitsu. If you look closely on one of the scans, you'll find that Niko is back. Is that a give-away as to how this adventure will unfold?

Heads up, Okami fans. It's sequel time for Clover Studio's critically-acclaimed PS2 original. Capcom has just made it official in the latest issue of Famitsu.

Wow, there are lots of new game announcements (leaks?) in this week's crop of Japanese gaming mags. We've seen God Eater and Minna no Sukkiri -- both for the PSP. Now here's one for the DS: a new Final Fantasy game laid bare in the new Weekly Shonen Jump issue. Yes, this is the new game that Square Enix has been teasing us about for the past few days. Tingle is a Nintendo character first introduced in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. As a 35-year-old bachelor who loves wearing green full-body tights, he's -- to put it mildly -- weird. It's like people either hate him or love him. No middle ground. He's also starring in two new games.

More info about the upcoming Pokemon Gold and Silver remakes have been revealed in the June issue of Japanese mag CoroCoro. There's nothing there about the rumored new gender and breeding features though. Hit the full article for more info and some scans.

Remember the other week when a rumored mysterious screenshot supposedly hinted at a new Square Enix game? Well, we got that screenshot now! And true enough, the guy shown in the picture is most definitely not Sephiroth!

The latest issue of Famitsu includes an interview with Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura. While the entire interview encompasses other games and franchises (FF13, Advent Children - most of which have already been discussed here), the more interesting bit involves the Kindgom Hearts series - they're making a special announcement next week! Could it be for any of the three portable KH games... or Kingdom Hearts 3?

Rumors about a follow-up to Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii, DS) have started to circulate around the Net, thanks in part to an image spotted in Spanish gaming magazine Nintendo Accion.

Square Enix's marketing department doesn't seem to know the meaning of "suspense." They currently have a countdown running down to what is is supposedly an unannounced Bahamut game. But they went ahead and announced the game anyway, complete with the title, platform, screenshots, and even some game details.
