Marvelous Entertainment announced the third iteration in the fame/love/fight-'em-up series from Neverland Company, Rune Factory 3. So far, the only release window given out is for Japan later this year, 2009.

 

Rune Factory 3 offers the new feature to players such as the hero being able to use a magical belt to actually transform into the monsters you collect. Doing so unlocks for you a variety of new attacks and battle moves. If you choose to talk to people while in animal form, you will also find that the way they respond to you changes as well.

Will it come to North American shores? No word yet on that, but we'll keep you posted on more news on this.
