Hmmmm. - Image 1Tech blog Digital Foundry reports that sources "intimately involved with the alliances and deal-making within their sector" have effectively confirmed that Nintendo and nVidia are teaming up for the next DS. The report also mentions that Sony has formed an alliance with IMG for the PSP2, which is expected to be a "technological monster." While neither devices have been flat-out confirmed by both groups, Digital Foundry tosses around some tentative tech specs for the next generation of handheld gaming supposedly leaked by industry insiders.

Kyle Hyde - Image 1Almost buried in a deluge of shovelware and games with "Imagine" in the title, Cing's Hotel Dusk: Room 215 was a surprisingly well-written and well-executed adventure game for the DS. If you loved the original, you might want to start praying that this sequel rumor turns out to be true.

DS - Image 1It looks like Nintendo is readying the next generation of DS  with the help of nVidia. According to reports from Bright Side of News, the company has already started to work on the next iteration of the handheld gaming console that will debut sometime next year.

Mirror's Edge - Image 1Is Faith leaping off to other platforms specifically to the Wii, DS and PSP? We've heard of the game getting a sequel, but not this. Unseen64 is reporting that Electronic Arts has commissioned Backbone Entertainment to create a demo of Mirror's Edge (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) for the aforementioned platforms.
