It was last year when we first heard news about Eidos Interactive bringing the classic dungeon crawler, Gauntlet, to the DS. However, it suddenly disappeared into thin air come early this year. Now, we are receiving word that it just might have been picked up by Majesco Entertainment, as indicated by the ESRB website.

 

This comes as quite a bit of surprise as we did not really hear anything about Eidos dropping the said title. But there you see it on ESRB's yellow chart: Publisher is Majesco Entertainment. Then again, this could be a new title altogether, so until we hear anything specific about it, we'll be tagging this as rumor for now.

At least fans are given another chance, though, right?
