For kids, reading can be quite a task. It isn't fun if it hasn't got some pictures in it. Hence, it's only but natural for Starfish SD to create a game that features classic Japanese tales with pictures on the DS. The fourth in their series, Kodomo no Tame no Yomi Kikase Ehon de Asobou 4 puts a little more leisure in reading.

The game features quite a number of popular tales such as Kaguya Hime (The Bamboo Princess), The Snow Queen, and Koumori. One thing cute about this particular game is that not only could you read your favorite tales with pictures, but you also get to listen to it being read to you. It's like story-telling time in kindergarten without that stinky boy who just came out of the playground.

Other features of the game is its mini-game, which tests your reading comprehension, as well as an English mode allowing the likes of you and me to read some tales in English and maybe even learn a little bit of Japanese while you're at it. This game is similar to the Digital Electric Library series released by Nintendo. However, this has a narrator who would read out the story to you.
