Konami has announced a sequel to Wii title Eledees (aka Elebits) for the DS, entitled Eledees: The Adventures of Kai and Zero. Learn more about this game, as well as find screenshots, after the jump!

Those who want more (fan-made) dose of Portal for the DS will be happy to know that homebrew developer t4ils recently updated StillAliveDS (previous release here). A word of warning to users of R4 clones: the R4 team seems to make a move towards eradicating the clones of their best-selling R4DS flashcart, but in a fairly risky method that would put users in danger. If our favorite weblator correctly translated R4's statement, it seems that they are planning to brick Nintendo DS units that are running R4 clones.  Sounds okay? Not if you're not too sure if your R4 flashcart is the real deal or not. More on this in the full article.

Want to doodle on your Nintendo DS Etch-A-Sketch style? You can do so, thanks to Putzpie's Etch A Sketch for the Nintendo DS. It's a nice, no-frills way to spend idle time, if you don't mind drawing using the D-pad instead of the stylus. The details and changelog in the full article.

Some shareholders were apparently not too pleased when Activision and Vivendi made known their plans to form a merger, and filed an injunction suit in an attempt to stop the development in its tracks. All was for naught, however, when the court denied the request to intervene in the planned merger. More details in the full article.

Chrono Trigger for the DS was a pretty big piece of news for the DS community, but it seems there's more on the horizon than just that. Namco Bandai looks to be releasing a new Tales game as well, if a scan from Jump magazine is any indication. Find the scan after the jump!

Square Enix has decided to pre-empt its countdown site by sending out a press release that confirms the development of Chrono Triggerfor the DS. Learn more about this remastered version of Chrono Trigger after the jump!

Developer R.H.L. has announced the release of Volumetric Shadow Demo 1.5.1. While this may be the last release for this DS homebrew application, the developer has added some improvements that should ensure it was well worth it. The changelog is available over in the full article.
