Those active in the homebrew DS scene should be ready to update their R4 (previous update here), now that Team R4 just recently released the update to the R4 kernel. Now on version 1.17, the current R4 release addressed and fixed the following problems, as noted by the changelog below:

1. Solved the brightness problem after soft-resetting
   
2. Solved 2107 the "Thanks" problem
   
3. Solved 2110 problem
