Homebrew developer Alex has released PuzzleManiak v3.1 for the Nintendo DS. For those unfamiliar with this DS application, it is a partial port of Simon Tatham's Portable Puzzle Collection for the Nintendo DS.

It contains 27 different puzzle games such as Sudoku, Pattern (Picross), and Mastermind (Guess). This latest version reinstates the hall of fame feature which displays the global rankings for players and fixes some of the bugs that were found in version 3.0.

The hall of fame can be seen in the official blog of the game. It is divided in four rankings for each game: since the beginning of Puzzlemaniak, since midnight (GMT), since the last seven days(GMT), and since the last 30 days(GMT). Players who plan on getting their achievements on list should keep in mind that it only stores the 20 best scores of each game/level.

If you plan on trying this game out, be advised that it requires DLDI patching.
