We've got quite a batch this week, considering that this is the last week before E3. The list starts with the electrifying new PS3-exclusive, inFamous, which by the way also comes with an 80GB PS3 bundle. Also on the list are two great North American releases after making quite a stir in the East - Crimson Gem Saga and Cross Edge. The M-Rated Damnation is also shooting in this week, adding to the lineup's variety. We've got all the details and the goods, so be sure to check 'em all out. inFamous - Our boy Cole is finally making his electrifying arrival on the shelves this week. He comes with an 80GB PS3 bundle too if you're interested. But if you're just looking for a high-voltage game with a different kind of superhero, then inFamous ought to be your pick of the week. Crimson Gem Saga - The English remake of the Korean-developed Astonishia Story 2 is leading the PSP lineup for this week. The localization is expected to deliver much better voice work and translations than in the Asian release, apart from all the rewarding level-grinding that you can do in the game.
Cross Edge - The multi-publisher crossover craze is also due up for its North American release this week, letting you customize-n-combo using your favorite characters from the universes of Capcom, Namco Bandai, Idea Factory, Gust, and NIS America. The fangasmic cameo-fest alone should be enough to make you click that buy link.
Trash Panic - Coming to the PSN is non-fresh puzzle game. Despite the name, Trash Panic is definitely not garbage, but there will be panic - and lots of it. Manage the biggest trash bin you'll ever see and try to cram and compress as much trash in it as you can. By "trash," they mean Washington Monuments, mountains, and even UFOs.
Wallace & Gromit Episode 2: The Last Resort - Join Wallace and his li'l buddy Gromit in their facepalm-funny rags-to-riches attempts in the second episode of their video game stint. This Xbox Live exclusive will feature 2-5 hours of gameplay and lots of weird inventions straight out of Wallace's workbench.
Space Camp - Every kid dreamed of going to space at some point. Give them ten years and we'll see the stats on that dream drop with reality and the gravity they wanted to avoid. But for kids who'd like to indulge on that little dream for just a bit longer, Space Camp will take them to the moon for some futuristic missions. Imagine: Makeup Artist - Ubisoft takes on a different role this time, turning possible professions into video games and perhaps helping little girls figure out what they want to be when they grow up. Use the stylus and make like a makeup artist and turn those ugly "facially challenged" customers into the pretty people they could be.
Damnation - Okay, so enough with the kiddie-girly games for now and let's take a look at something more mature, like ESRB Mature material. Following their strategic AAA-dodging is Codemasters with the release of this steampunk gun-trotter. Can this one compete with the first three titles on this week's list? We'll find out soon enough.
Jake Hunter Detective Story: Memories of the Past - Once you get over the excruciatingly long name, Jake Hunter is actually a pretty engaging game. Interview witnesses, uncover clues, and follow your leads to help you solve cases episode after episode. Sometimes, what appears to be your typical everyday case turns out to be darker than you think.
Personal Trainer: Walking - As if walking isn't easy enough, the Personal Trainer series continues to help out with other recreational aspects in your life. Trying to shed those extra inches? This game just might have a few useful tips in how to walk and what to do to maximize your exercise. The Munchables - When you enemy says, "Eat me!" you really should. At least that's how it goes in The Munchables. Whet you appetite and save the world at the same time by snacking on the opposition. The game also has a variety of game modes to keep the snacking going.
