Australia - Image 1Next week's eGames & Entertainment expo in Australia is almost ready to rock, and industry luminaries are flocking to the land down under to catch a piece of the action. This week, eGames organizers announced the who's who of their line-up which features some very special keynote speakers.

Insomniac Games' Brian Allgeier will start things off with a speech discussing their latest release Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction for the Sony PlayStation 3. He'll be followed by Nintendo America's Marketing Director Greg Arthurton who will do some demonstrations in behalf of his firm.

Also to make an appearance are 2K Games developers Dean Tate and Jonathan Pelling. The two did much of the Microsoft Xbox 360 hit BioShock's level design.

Providing musical entertainment will be the Eminence Symphony Orchestra which includes master violin player Hiraoki Yura and internationally acclaimed composer Hitoshi Sakimoto. Included in the performances set to be delivered is the main theme from Sega's Gallian Chronicles.

Aside from speeches, demonstrations and performances, gamer-oriented panel discussions will also be held to tackle hot topics such as the end of single player gaming with the emergence of MMOs. Also to be addressed is why physical games are rapidly becoming the "new shooters."
