It's a TV Tuner by a third-party. The TV Tuner you're linking to is by Nintendo and set to be released in June, not April. Get you homophobic ass off to do some research next time.

» sorta true
First of all, you must always remember that no final screen of a product is final until it actually comes out for sale.
Second, the shot you see is a tv tuner. It is not, however, the one that Nintendo is in exultations over. That one I recall seeing since the DS first came out on LikSang. I would not be surprised to find that its sales are lacking.
Third, the design shot posted earlier seems more accurate to what Nintendo described for their new TV Tuner. Remember, they're Nintendo, they have some of the best technicians/designers on the planet. Also, don't forget that a tv tuner is nothing more than a circuit which can receive/translate radio frequencies. Similar to a wifi card, it can all be placed inside a chip. The one posted is a cheap bastard approach, using a large board (someone who doesn't have access to a micro-sized press), hence its size.
Or, I could be just talking out my ass, but in the end, I think my statements are valid.

» GBA Tuner
I remember the old Tuner for GBA, it was made for the first GBA and worked with the SP pretty well, it was smaller than the unit there, but unfortunately it doesn't work with the DS only because its form fit to the GBA, although... with some modification to the plastic, it fits nicely in the DS (did it to mine), its a nice $40 at Lik-Sang
http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=45&products_id=2078&
with some proper and not hard at all modification its a great deal considering its about 1/4 the price of the unit above
