holly crap Nintendo ds is selling like a freiken home console and its onley a hand held dam thats huge for the nds
Lets hope the Revolution keeps this up!
yay nintendo rule!!! I hope they win the next gen console war with their ausome wacky controller
well it would help to know whether this is there implicit or explicit profotcs... becuase otherwise that number is too high, i mean either way they made that money yes but how much was in the ocket profit is the question.
800 million dollars is quite the feat for nintendo.
Is it still april first or something, cuz this is freaking amazing, one up for ninty.
Does someone know how much Sony and/or Microsoft did profit last year as I don't know how big the difference is. Preferably only their PS/Xbox departments as MS makes more money than a small country and Sony is also a very huge name in other industrys.
I was hoping Nintendo would go bankrupt so we could see Zelda on PS3 or 360.
Not quite, Zelda would not appear on the PS3 and Xbox360 just like that. Nintendo owns them which means they could keep it and you would never ever see Zelda. PS your an idiot, you don't know nothing about the gaming world. So sad.

Well March 31st ended the last profit year. Yesterday, Nintendo released its profit earnings. The grand total of profit Nintendo had gained last year is $800 Million. This is the most Nintendo has earned since 2001. 2001 marks the year that the Nintendo GameCube and the Nintendo Game Boy Advanced came out. This is much more than Nintendo's predicted annual earnings. Why the major earnings? The answer would be the Nintendo DS. The are still selling at a good rate, while the new Nintendo DS Lites are selling out in Japan constantly. It is nice to know that Nintendo is still able to duke it out with Sony and Microsoft. We will have to wait and see what will happen with the American release of the Nintendo DS Lite.
