Ó

I'm on a DS?! - Image 1It's official. After news broke out of that fuzzy scan of what looked to be Ninja Gaiden on the DS, a new report has confirmed the speculation. Yes folks, there will be a Ninja Gaiden game on your Nintendo DS handhelds.

The game, called Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword (we love those DS acronyms), has you controlling the DS horizontally rather than vertically, allowing you to use your sword and ninja magic through a different control scheme.

According to Tecmo's Marketing Manager, Yoh Watanabe, "The Nintendo DS will allow gamers to control Master Ninja Ryu Hayabusa slash for slash with the use of the DS stylus in a way never possible in previous iterations of the game."

All we can say is SWEET! Expect the game to ship to America this coming October.
