Tony Hawk's proving ground - Image 1Activision is keeping its silence about the future of its celebrated Tony Hawk skating franchise. The publisher has refused to confirm whether or not it has assigned developer Robomodo to work on the series in place of former handlers Neversoft.

The publisher gave CVG the stock answer that it "does not comment on rumour and speculation" when confronted with the question. Nonetheless, CVG was quick to point out in its post that there are signs of such a transition.

The site said that earlier Activision statements suggesting that they want to innovate the series and Robomodo's confirmation that it's working for a game under the Activision banner could be signs of the development. Sounds like a nice theory, but we'll have to wait and see about that.
