Morning timer v1.2 - Image 1It's been a while since we reported on Infantile Paralysiser, so this is certainly a treat. The developer's just released version 1.2 of the Morning Timer homebrew app, which basically turns your Nintendo DS into an alarm clock.

Like the similarly-themed Cooking Timer app from before, this will allow users to pick their own selection of MP3s when it goes off. Here are the details on what's been updated recently (quoting the readme):
  • v1.2
    • The play time can have been change by 'More settings of the timer settings'.
    • The FAT driver was optimized. The simple check disk was more fast.
  • v1.1
    • When the loose connection of the disk is detected, halt is done with the warning sound. (in The timer executing.)
    • The battery power was saved by various optimizations.
    • About the disk check when starting. The bug that misjudged a normal disk to the error disk was corrected.
That said, we advise readers to be careful in running Morning Timer v1.2, given that its GUI's in Japanese. Those interested in reading more about this homebrew will want to access its changelogs via the file bundle, and the dev's site via the source link.
