Wii Fit - Image 1 If you've been keeping tabs on Japanese video game sales, you might want to know that Media Create has released the Japan software sales chart for the week of January 14 to 20.

Like the last software sales report, Nintendo's Wii Fit is once again on top of the list, selling 92,000 units.

At a close second is Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games for the Nintendo DS (also available on the Wii) which sold 90,000 copies. Mario Party DS comes in at number 3 with 33,000 copies sold. Former number three ranked Wii Sports has slipped to fourth place followed by Monster Hunter Portable 2nd for the PSP.

Interestingly enough, 16 of the top 30 games were for the Nintendo DS. This was followed by seven for the Wii, three for the PS2, two for the PSP, and one for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 respectively. In case you want to see the complete list, here it is:
