lego2LucasArts and TT Games definitely went for the masses on this one. A week after LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy was released worldwide, it proved to be more than just a fun-for-family videogame. In fact, it sold more than 1.1 million copies in all the eight platforms, making it the biggest family game title this year.

LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy is a sequel to LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game and has been released September 11 in Europe and September 12 in the US. It can be played in PC, PS2, PSP, Xbox 360, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, DS and Game Boy platforms.

The Original Trilogy is a massive hit because the new features allow you to create new characters and adjust the difficulty level. Above all, it's a neat family game that combines the tongue-in-cheek fun of rearranging Lego bricks and the most famous moments of the Original Trilogy itself. Parents admit that they found this game a great way to bond with their kids.

Well, it's obvious that the geniuses at LucasArts and TT Games have already figured this out in the beginning.

This is a really GREAT game, this is what is expected from a portable gaming machine like a PSP. Everyone, do yourself a favor, and go buy this one. It's a keeper. Truly a GREAT and AWESOME game.

 » I agree with 6.

This game is brilliant in every way. This is one of those games you will be proud you spent your money on. Plus, your grand kids will think you were a hard worker back in the day instead of a thieving prick.

Speaking of telling other people to back to school...maybe you should yourself.
If you're going to bash other people, make sure you're picture perfect. Otherwise, it just make you look like a really big *****!

When I bought this game I had a 2.60 PSP, but the game wanted me to upgrade to 2.71, which is a big NO NO. So I ended up downgrading to a 1.5, and installing DEVHOOK. so in a way it was a blessing in disguise, cause my PSP is so much cooler now

@IPS

You mean i miss typed buy, for but, whoopee *****ing do
its a typo, not deliberate like some people, I'm sure even you have the intelligence to know a typo from a deliberate means of lazy intelect.

Sue me, least i'm not lazy with words like "sik" "da" "wat", and a whole lot of other things.

So yes, i still stand by my original post.

 » Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy US ver.

The Empire strikes back in this sequel to the endearing Star Wars game made all of LEGOs. LEGO Star Wars II follows the Rebel Alliance's battle to dismantle the Galactic Empire and rebuild a galaxy in pieces. From Darth Vader's pursuit of Princess Leia aboard her blockade runner to a showdown on the reconstructed Death Star, the game includes even more of the family-friendly LEGO action. The sequel finally allows you to build with your LEGO blocks, as a new Free Play mode allows gamers to customize the vehicles for new ship designs, as well as Free Play all of the playable characters (over 100 in total) by mixing and matching body parts, forming the likes of 'Stormbacca', 'Chew Vader' and 'Leia Wan Kenobi.' Other additions include cool new character-specific attacks and maneuvers, Power Brick items, playable mini-kit vehicles, an exclusive four-player Versus multiplayer mode (with DS Download features), touchscreen features, and more.
