Much of the world, like the US and Europe, have been consistently on the lookout for Nintendo’s latest DS Lite; it has really hard to find not due to its small, portable size, but simply because Nintendo hasn’t shipped it out yet. Now, rumors are running amuck that it will dock on Europe ports by the last day of June.

European’s have been itching to get their hands on the DS's child ever since word of it getting developed came out. It’s only natural that rumors about its release got out from time to time. As with any other rumor, you can only treat it with a great amount of doubt (and some wishful thinking), but this latest one may actually make some sense.

Super Mario Bros. have been the milking cow of Nintendo, so it’s safe to speculate that the debut of the console will coincide with the release of its latest installment, New Super Mario Bros. With the said title’s release bouncing back and forth (equal only to those Chinese Olympians' game of ping-pong) leaving gamers dizzy, much confusion was also created regarding DS Lite’s release. However, Nintendo has recently confirmed that New Super Mario Bros. is now all geared up for distribution this coming June 30; it is then very safe to assume (or wish) that the title will debut as a package with the latest DS Lite wrapped with it. That would make a very tempting package to open indeed.

Although there is no official word from Nintendo regarding this (very sane) speculation yet, it still wouldn’t hurt to fantasize about the possibility right? Hey, that’s why dreams are free.
