Just like the opening sequence of a movie, the opening cinematic for Ghostbusters: The Video Game (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, PC) makes you all hyped up to see the rest of it. Unfortunately, we have to wait a few more months for that. As it is, let's just spend a chilling night at the museum and get a sneak peek of what our boys are gonna be taking on when the game comes out.

If you're that into Ghostbusters, then you'd best be on the lookout for the up and coming Ghostbusters Slimer Edition collectibles from Amazon. It's a good merchandising campaign, too, what with the impending arrival of Ghostbusters: The Video Game (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, DS, Wii, PC).

Defeating a marshmallow man probably doesn't match up to facing down the Locust Hord, but it does give you points. In fact, the Ghostbusters video game will be like Gears of War "Lite," says the game's producer, Garrett Moehring.

Who you gonna call? And when are you going to call them? That's June 16, folks. That's when you get to roast the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. I don't know why I have a fixation on Stay Puft, but I'm buying Ghostbusters just for him.

Atari President Phil Harrison wants to prove Activision wrong for dropping Ghostbusters like a hot potato when it merged with Blizzard, saying he wants to turn the video game into a US$ 100 million franchise. So much for Atari's goal to be "just an online company," and I couldn't be happier for them. Go Harrison!
