GC 2006: Yoshi's Island 2 Screenshots

There are five more screenshots of Yoshi's Island 2 for the Nintendo DS from the Leipzig Games Convention. The press release for the game contained no information on Baby Wario, whom we saw on the box for Yoshi's Island 2. The press release does, however, make note of lots of unlockables. It leads us to believe that Baby Wario and maybe even Bowser Jr. will be playable as unlockable characters. Also, it seems that Baby Peach and Baby Donkey will be joining the gang this time, together of course, with the Mario and Yoshi duo.

Artoon hasn't been known for quality games before, but with Yoshi's Island 2, they just might be a respected developer by gamers! The game is currently set to hit Europe on December 1st, 2006.

Amazing looking game. The SNES version was great and having it portable on GBA was the best.

In fact, I think I'll put it on my flash cart now.
