Chronos TwinFor some of you who are anticipating and are in-the-know about Chronos Twin for the DS, you might be excited to hear that there could possibly be other titles in the making. If that's enough to get you jumping up and down, bear in mind that when we say here "other titles", we're talking next-gen.

Now before we spill the beans of Cubed3's interview with Chronos Twin's creator Jorde Biedma, we'll give a quick recap of what we know of the title. The bare-bones of the game is that it's a side-scrolling platformer that involves controlling two characters situated in different time periods at the same time.

If you jump in one screen, you jump also in the other. You might be attacking an alien on your touchpad, but the top screen might just show you throwing kicks in the air. Understand?

Anyways, in the interview, Cubed3 was able to ask much about how developing a game such creatively complex like Chronos Twin was for Lexicon Entertainment. Considering that it was supposedly meant for the GBA at first, they had also talked about what certain pros and cons they had to weigh in order to finally decide on pitching it up for the DS.

Now here's the snippet of the interview which will make you split:

Cubed3: When development is complete on Chronos Twin, do you have any other plans to support the DS in the future, either with a CT successor or something completely fresh?

Jorde Biedma: We have a few ideas in mind but if Chronos Twin is supported by gamers and critics we’ll work on a second part!

C3: What are your thoughts about Nintendo Wii? Are there any plans to create a game for it in the future or even work on a smaller game for release via the Virtual Console?

JB: We would love to develop games for Nintendo Wii, and this will bring a lot more possibilities into gaming. Nintendo is always looking for innovative ideas and our team at EnjoyUp is ready to give them! At this point is complicated since it depends how things work out with DS games, at this time we’re looking into smaller games that can be downloaded online.

Sounds much like what we heard from the previous "Yoshi's Island for the Wii" interview. If they do bring Chronos Twin over to the Wii, the team will definitely have a lot of creative ground to play around on.
