Boys and girls, listen up! It's time to stock up on DS and PSP Games
because Circuit City is having an early summer sale for all the
videogame junkies out there. A bunch of games are listed on sale for
only $8.96. You're not dreaming and that's no typo! But before you zoom
your way to the nearest Circuit City, please remember that not all
stores will have all these games in stock. Also, don't be surprised if
some stores put them aside for now, because technically, the sale
doesn't start until the week of July 4. Oh, by the way, as it turns
out, the sale also covers titles for the PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, and
Gameboy Advance. Here's the list of PSP and DS Games for the Circuit City $8.96 summer sale taken from Cheap Ass Gamer. EA released a plethora of new FIFA
screenshots for the DS and PSP. FIFA World Cup Germany features all the
countries you could want and your favorite players. Take your team and
try to make it to the World Cup in Germany in 12 realistic stadiums.
This title shows off another great use of the dual screens on the DS
using the bottom one to show the player's position. There are loads of
action screenshots listed and should give you an even better idea of
how the game is played and what is to be expected.

The
only thing soccer fans all over the world are looking forward for this
year is the 2006 FIFA World Cup to be held in Germany; well, that and
EA's 2006 FIFA World Cup video game set to be released this coming
April 24 in North America and April 28 in Europe and Asia on the Xbox
360, Nintendo DS, and PSP.Yes, while all heads are turned towards Germany this year, almost all of those heads turn toward video stores from time to time in anticipation of the said game. If you think I'm exaggerating, you might be surprised to know that EA's best selling game of all time is FIFA Soccer. Magnify that craze on the World Cup scale and you'll have an idea of what I mean. Banking on the game's popularity (merely two-thirds of the world's population), EA aims to demonstrate athletic excellence, undying determination and masterful skill by featuring the line-up of players joining the 2006 FIFA World Cup. EA claims this is for the spirit of the sport, but you might as well throw in some millions in revenue as a "perk". Superstars featured in the game include China's Zhi Zhen, England's Frank Lampard, Lukas Podolski of Germany, Alessandro Del Piero of Italy, Mexican Jamie Lozano, Portugal's Simao, Netherlands' Arjen Robben, Ricardo Cabanas of Switzerland, Spanish Xavi and USA's Claudio Reyna. Featuring stunning visual representations of the world's superstar players, gamers take the helm as they steer their team from the
eliminations to glory. Apart from taking control of one
of 127 national teams, players will enjoy groundbreaking new play
modes. Gamers gets the chance to recreate classic moments in FIFA World
Cup history with modern teams via Global Challenge feature. Now if that doesn't give you a kick, maybe I will. |

A new batch of screens for the DS version of 2006 FIFA World Cup have emerged, showing off this attractive dual screen soccer game. As you can see, the top half will be used for actually playing the game, while the bottom half will have an overview of the field as well as without having to struggle through menus.
