Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - Image 1If you enjoyed Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (PS3, PSP, Xbox 360, DS, Wii, GBA, PC, Mac) then here's some news that will make you happy.

A recent press release from Electronic Arts and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince for the Nintendo DS, Wii, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360, PC, Macs, and mobile devices will be released this year at the same time the movie comes out.

The game, which is being developed by EA's Bright Light Studio, places players in the shoes of Harry Potter as he goes about trying to survive his sixth year in Hogwarts. This pretty much means that you can expect to engage in duels, brew more potions, and even take to the air in Qudditch matches.

So there you have it, once again Harry Potter fans will be treated to a new video game from EA. Remember to keep checking back here at QJ.NET for more video gaming news.
