Pokemon Ranger: Batonnage becomes Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia - Image 1Some important news today for the DS lovers in attendance. Nintendo's E3 conference has revealed a couple of new games that'll be heading to the handheld, and the selection is quite good.

Details are still scarce on each of the following games, so we're just giving you the basics here:
  • Guitar Hero: On Tour Decades - a follow-up to On Tour, which sold 300,000 units in its first week.
  • Spore Creatures - This game is supposed to emphasize player creativity and sharing, according to the E3 description.
  • Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia - coming November 10. It's the Pokemon Ranger sequel (Pokemon Ranger: Batonnage, we think) as localized for US audiences.
  • Grand Theft Auto: China Town Wars - We're guessing it's a tentative title, but basically, you can now expect a GTA installment on the DS, complete with free-ranging gameplay. This one will be set in modern day Liberty City, so it should be quite exciting.
In any event, expect more information to become available as E3 continues. Keep checking back here for updates from E3.
