THQ may have gone through some rough times lately, but it's not out of the fight yet. In fact THQ president Brian Farrell announced that THQ's DS platformer Drawn to Life will eventually be making its way to the Nintendo Wii. Farrell also commented on other THQ franchises, such as the Stuntman and Juiced series. Read what he had to say after the jump. |

The latest issue of Nintendo Power, which isn't in the magazine stands yet, was supposedly picked up by the guys from Nintendopedia. Of course, we all want to find out how the new games fared in the hands of Nintendo Power's editors (like Phantom Hourglass, for instance), so we decided to jump the gun and check out what Nintendopedia posted about this new Nintendo Power issue.According to Nintendopedia, The Phantom Hourglass was able to snag a high 9.5 rating from Nintendo Power's review, while the high-paced Donkey Jet (or Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast) for the Wii clocked in at a low 6.5. The innovative gameplay presented by Drawn to Life for the DS managed to garner an average 7.5, however. That's not all. This supposed new issue of Nintendo Power confirms the sequel of Dreamcast's rhythm title Samba de Amigo for the Wii. If it's true, then it'll be yet another great title for Nintendo's happy console: nothing can emulate playing the maracas better than the Wiimote and Nunchuck. We sure do hope that the above news turns out to be true. If it does, you can be sure that we'll keep you posted. Till then, stay tuned! Click on the Read link to view all the review scores! |

Bringing imagination to life is everyone's childhood dream. THQ apparently knew that, and from that concept they drew forth Drawn to Life for the DS. Players can create and play their own adventures using the features of Nintendo's innovative handheld. To boot, here's the game's latest TV advertisement.
In this video, you'll find the robust drawing tool in use which allows players to create living characters and fully functional vehicles such as submarines and spaceships. Looks like it only takes a few minutes of familiarizing with the stylus before anyone can design a masterpiece and make it move in Drawn to Life. While waiting for the game's fall release, might as well check out the video below. |

Information has been released for Drawn to Life, 5th Cell's upcoming DS game. The following quote comes straight from the developers mouth: A dying village, embraced by everlasting winter, has cried out to you, the Creator, for assistance. The remaining inhabitants of the village need you to bring back all their lost possessions such as the sun, moon, fruit trees, fish, rain clouds, plants, animals and more! However, you cannot recreate these items without a set of blueprints, so you must collect the "Template pages" for each object. To make the situation even more difficult, each page has been torn up and scattered across the world. To do this, the player must create their own heroes, a Creation specifically suited to fly, run, jump, swim or smash their way through snowy fields, tropical islands, dark forests, crowded cities and grassy hills. Once you've secured a requested Template, you can enter the village, draw it and place it somewhere in the village. While in the village you can hang out and interact with the inhabitant's and your own Hero Creations. Follow them around and see their reaction to your work! How do you create objects and heroes? By the touchscreen of course! You can draw your creators using jigsaw pieces or by freehand, you can then colour them in however you like. There will be two modes in the final game, Village Mode and Challenge Mode. In Village Mode, you will try and repopulate the village by interacting with villagers. In Challenge Mode, you will play platforming levels to find template pieces. The game still needs a publisher. |
