Leave it to Nintendo to whip out another color for the DS just when you got a new one. Coming this Mothers' Day is a lime green DS Lite bundled with Personal Trainer: Cooking. Nintendo's practically suggesting that this is the occasion's gift-to-give, and maybe mom would like to get in on the gaming action too. If only her eyes were still as good as yours.

Shigeru Miyamoto hears the clamor, and he intends to deliver in a big way. Nintendo's top gaming mastermind is now looking into packing more services for the DS. It's no secret that Nintendo has been making a lot of money over the last few months. At this point, most people would probably expect that the company's stocks would be as good as gold. According to Bloomberg Japan, however, this isn't the case. The video game company's stock dropped by 5.9 percent and ended at an all time seven-month low. The Nintendo DS 1seg TV tuner in Japan caused quite a ruckus over demand. Online order placement for the DS/DSLite attachment were opened a few weeks back without any announcement whatsoever, but still, traffic flooded in.

Meanwhile, a recent survey conducted reveals that only 18% of the DS population want the TV tuner... But considering the sheer size of the DS population itself, the "only 18%" goes a loooong way indeed!
