Square Enix isn't the only one with a new teaser site. Capcom Japan has also put one up, so for this week we get to wrack our brains about two different upcoming games. No countdown for the Capcom site, though, but there is a number. The Capcom teaser site features the number (date?) "1560" lazily sliding back and forth against a hazy background. The numbers could mean anything, but it's worth noting that the teaser site is accessible from Capcom's Sengoku Basara portal, and the date corresponds to the setting of the series. It definitely strengthens the possibility of a new entry in that action series. Interestingly, the first Onimusha game was also set in 1560. Could this be some sort of crossover game between the two franchises? The mind boggles. Related articles: |

» Has to be a Basara game.
That design underlining the "1560" matches exactly with the font on the logo... same "bloodswipe" looking deal.
Either way I hope it's a new Basara game. Capcom really disappointed with the one for PSP... I hope they make a proper Basara game for our handhelds (or even SB3)!
