Electronic Arts today announced that Burnout Legends has shipped to North American retailers for the Nintendo DS portable video game system. Burnout Legends sets the standard for on-the-go automotive anarchy, combining the series? trademark speed, destruction and depth with new features, gameplay refinements and connectivity.

Built from the ground-up for the Nintendo DS, Burnout Legends uses the touch screen to allow gamers to control their car in spectacular crashes by employing ?aftertouch.? The game also features nine gameplay modes, including crash, road rage, pursuit and white-knuckle multiplayer via Wi-Fi.

Burnout Legends delivers updated versions of the most explosive moments from Burnout, Burnout 2: Point of Impact and Burnout 3: Takedown, with new gameplay, new cars and new surprises.
