After bringing the west its well-deserved share of Summon Night titles on handhelds, Atlus recently announced that Summon Night: Twin Edge is shipping to North America. In case you missed the exciting reveal, we'll have you know that the action RPG is arriving on the Nintendo DS this May 20. For now, we can all enjoy new screenshots that Atlus' crew managed to give away. Originally from the line of strategy RPGs, Summon Night: Twin Edge is a faithful spin-off with combat akin to the action-packed Mana series. You'll be hacking and slashing your way through with the stylus, made more appealing by colorful characters and a compelling story that will keep you playing. The screenshots below should give you a good feel of Summon Night: Twin Edge - multiple enemies on the screen to destroy, deadly skills and spells to unleash, and an interface which allows every action to be stylus-based. It's not all about touching enemies, however, because you'll have to be wary about relationships between members of your party since AI allies have feelings too. They can opt to protect you with their lives, or leave you to burn depending on what bonds you have. To learn more about the game, check out its official website via the link below. |
