Cooking Mama! - Image 1"I would never put rat in my Ratatouille." This was what Mama had to say about PETA's objection to her Cooking Mama game (DS and Wii) from Majesco. The culinary wondermom believes that good home-cooked meals can bring people together around the world and make the world a happier place.

Mama isn't as brutal as she was played out to be. She may not be vegetarian, but she fully supports humane treatment of animals. There are 51 recipes in her Cooking Mama World Kitchen cookbook, and 25 of those are vegetarian-friendly. "Like any accomplished cook, I create my recipes to appeal to a broad range of tastes and preferences," she said. "My only goal is to ensure you leave the table well fed."

I understand and appreciate vegetarianism, but PETA, leave Mama alone! She's only trying to make the world a better place with her cooking! Lol. All you did now is give Mama more publicity.

 » You mean Mama's statements?

Nope. Majesco capitalized on the controversy and handed out a press release / ad in response to PETA.

 » PETA

Look at PETA's response to the fact that BILLIONS of mice and hedgehogs have to be BRUTALLY KILLED in giant grain harvesting machines so that everyone can have tofu...

If you eat meat, you kill animals. If you don't eat meat, you kill animals. There's an "INCONVIENIENT TRUTH" for you vegan crackheads out there.

Nice one! I'd rather have a quick blow to the head then to be chopped up to bits or crushed to death.

These guys never quit do they?

 » Support PETA...

Starve a dog, club a seal, microwave a cat! Give PETA a _real_ reason to exist!

I don't think I heard PETA raising nearly as much fuss when that guy starved the dog for "art": http://blog.peta.org/archives/2008/04/artist_starving.php In fact, they made a decision to stay silent on the whole matter according to their own blog!!! Calling attention to it or not, I don't see how PETA could ethically stay silent on the whole matter!

 » WTF!?!?!?!?!

PETA only speaks up on issues that maintain political attention. Otherwise they don't care.

In other words, PETA only cares about the treatment of animals when THEY feel the situation has enough media attention.

» not a big supporter of PETA myself

but seriously, at least these guys believe in something bigger than themselves. stop hating on good people.

 » WTF!?!?!?!?!

If believing in something makes you good then Hitler was a God.

You do realize that PETA is responsible for human (AND ANIMAL) deaths, right?

And...they do NOT believe in anything bigger then themselves. Their beliefs and actions land them in JAIL.

I don't believe their have been any recent illegal actions but their actions in the past have been horrid.
